Feelings,

I take a mould of the body and cast it in plaster.
Then I slice the plaster body apart—lines, layers, breaking it open.
I put it back together, but never the same.
Some slices are left out, others are turned, misaligned.
What emerges is a distorted body—a body of feeling.
Sometimes it's plaster, sometimes silicone.
Always something that tried to be said.
